Im back in school. Most likely Im busy to even blog...we'll see. But I came on to say that the best concealer that Ive used thus far is Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse concealer!! I remember wearing the foundation back when I was a freshman in high school, but I didnt like it much so much to my surprise, the concealer works! I have problems with my under eyes. I havent tried it on my blemishes but Im pretty sure it works because of the consistency and feeling of it; its blendable too!. I might have gotten a lighter color (in light), but just as long as you put it on before the foundation I guess its fine...I wanan try a shade darker though.

BTW: I got a haircut and it kinda was not what I wanted...I liked the bangs though :)

BTW..A REVAMPED PAGE IS MUCH NEEDED!!:D

IM BACCK!!

Yes! The Fall 2010 semester is over and Im back to having some free time, for a month at least. Since my last entry, there's been alot going on. First off, Thanksgiving Break was great (but I wish it wasn't cut short) because I finally went to Virginia to visit the relatives after 3 years (thats because since i quit my job, nothing was holding me back from going on a mini vacation). Everybody was shocked to hear that I'm 20 years old, but I guess I dont blame them because sometimes i dont beleive it either haha. But once I returned, I had so much schoolwork to do. A week later, I wrote a crappy 16 page paper within 36 hours (never again SMH). Then from then until a week ago, Ive been cramming for studying for final exams. Once again, this school makes me sick, but thats nothing new. I finally got to visit my cousins' new house this past Sunday and its pretty nice. With a swimming ppol, a swing set and a mini koi fish pond, Im jealous haha. They moved to Jersey too but theyre closer to NYC than I am. :)

I know I kept saying that I wanted to write personal reviews on vertain beauty products since the summer, and this is what Ima do. The following products are products that I bought within the past 4-5 months or so.

First product: Coastal Scents 88 color pallette. I really love it. Period. It is pigmented, but it would help ALOT if a primer is used. Speaking of primers, I recently discovered that using a concealer is probbaly the best primer because of its consistency (I used one from Cover Girl).LOl Im so slow.

Second product(s): NYX round lipsticks.I bought one in Circe (nude) and Narcissus (bright hot pink). I really loved Circe because it didnt wash me out too much, like how MAC's Creme d'Nude did. I mean, I do like Creme d'Nude, but I thought Circe suits me better. As for Narcissus, the color is really pretty but i can never pull it off. Its a super bright hot pink color, and I dont think ima ever wear it, unless Im going to an 80's party or somehting haha. It looked like i took a bright neon pink crayon and scribbled my lips with it. Ima post swatches later on.

Third product: Its a 10 Miracle leave in spray. The name definitely suits the product. Prior to buying this product (or any hair product Ima mention), I never really took the time to take care of my hair properly, such as blow drying it. Out of nowhere, i became obsessed with hair products, and I had heard that this product does wonders. It does. Basically, after you wash your hair, you towel dry it, apply a few sprays and then blow dry. It made my hair feel much smoother than I can ever imagine. Those who know me knows that I have crazy thick hair. The downside to this product is that its expensive and locations may vary. I got a little bottle for about 17.99 at a CVS across the street from my school. Ive had this product for about two months and it finally began to ran out. It is the best hair product to use for blow drying your hair.

Fourth product(s): Herbal Essences hair care line. So during my hair product obsession, I became obsessed w. Herbal Essences.

The First HE product i bought was the None of Your Frizzness Smoothing Leave In Creme. It is a reddish orange 10. fl oz bottle that has a pull up, push down nozzle (which i dont like). However, the product works pretty well. Sometimes I use it with my its a 10 spray, but I mostly use it after straightening my hair. I apply a dime sized amount to my hair (specifically my ends and the top part of my hair). I dont put too much becasue of that greasy feeling. Its only available in some stores, for about 4-5 dollars. I forgot to mention that its scent is Mandarin orange+pearls...it basically smells like light oranges and cream.

The next HE product wasthe Set Me Up hair gel. Back when i was a high school senior (3 yrs ago), I always used the Totally Twisted hair gel for scrunching my hair and I was satisfied. That had a 2 max hold, but this hair gel is at its maximum hold, which is a 3. It has a light scent to it, but i thought the Totally Twisted one smelled alot better. Scrunching thick hair is difficult, but this hair gel had me the most satisfied. Everything stayed in place without over hardening my hair. Of course, you still gotta use hair spray to set it. Its scent is Cactus flower+bamboo.

Anther HE product I bought was the Long Distance Relationship Leave In Split Protector for Long Hair. It is in a small red bottle, 6 fl ounces, with a cool pump that you can turn to lock it. Honestly, i havet tried it as often to really see the results, but its just like the other leave in creme I mentioned, but I thought that the other one was more effective. I can try to use it before flat ironing my hair to see its effectiveness. By the way, the scent is Raspberry+Satin, but to me, it smells like the older line of HE products before it got revamped like Circa 2002). That smell reminds me of middle school since I used to wear the older HE hair spray gels....bad memories in middle school SMH.

Finally LOL, I bought a conditioner in HELLO HYDRATION. It has a coconut type scent and is probably one of the nicest conditioners I ever used. The smell is great and it made my hair softer than other conditioners. i cant stand the way tht the opening is designed in order to get the product out. you basically push down for the cap to pop up and it comes thru a little slit-like opening. I would unscrew the cap off and squeeze it out myself.

Fifth product: Victoria's Secret PINK body mist and lotion in Fresh and Clean. Its scent is Apples and Jasmine (I think?). Im such a sucker for anything in Apple scent. :)

These are the top 5 products that Ive purchased within the past 4-5 months. Last Friday, NYX's website had a free shipping day with any purchase, so I bought their new HD Grinding Blush in Menage a Trois and their Soft Matte Lip Cream in Addis Abba...Ima definitely make swatches and a review :)

I know Ive been busy but ever since the end of summer, Ive been wanting to do a bunch of reviews soo badly on items that I bought. Some of the things I wanted to do a review on were: NYX round lipsticks (in Narcissus and Circe), the 88 color pallete by Coastal Scents, Revlon Photoready foundation, and alot of Herbal Essences hair products (been obsessing lately). I dont think Ima have time until the Fall semester ends which is in mid December, so be on the lookout (I know Im behind).
