I still am struggling to find a job within my field. However, I am working part time as an English and Math instructor at a children's tutoring center. Because of this, I decided last October to pursue my Master's degree in Public Health. I wish the situation was different where I had a full time job and possibly have them pay for my education, but it's whatever. I just want a stable job in my field already. I took my GREs back in March and I did decent. I want to do much better so I can get into Rutgers, where I can have a double concentration, in Public Health Education/ Behavioral Science and in Epidemiology. Yeah, I'm crazy lol, but I just want to meet my goals and get close to my dream job.
Other than that, what else has been new? I got boyfriend...for my birthday lol :p For the past year, we've been through our ups and downs but I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. After all, it led to this point. I don't want to say too much because I've learned that there are just some things that is best to be kept private, and my love life is one of them. It's one of those things that I want to keep to myself rather than sharing every little detail via social media. It's for me to know. And him too lol. I don't mind posting occasional pics and posts here and there though.
I felt like this summer was the summer where my past came back up. Billy and I started talking again and it feels just like old times!! I have my godbro back and I'm glad! I really did miss him and the fun times we had, but I just love the fact that after 5 years of distance, it's like nothing happened. He's still the same sarcastic asshole with a sweet side. He's like an older brother to me too. I'm so grateful. Stephanie and I started talking again too. We might not be nearly as close as we once were, but what's great is that me and her reminisce about our past and that means alot. It's going to take time, but I'm glad that we're on cool terms now. Weird that my past is coming back up, but I'm sorta glad it did.
I don't like that summer is over. It was quite a ride. I'm just mad that I didn't get to spend as much time at the beach as I wanted to. I really wanted a Cambodian tan. Anyways, here are some pics. There's alot lol.
